The Prince feigned shock as the "question" was asked. It was obviously fake, even as he placed a hand across his chest. The woman that had been sitting with him giggled into her hand at his obvious facade, but it didn't seem to affect him at all.
"You mean you don't know?" He asked, voice gaining a pitch. Then, all facade fell as he smirked, his eyes giving a dangerous flash. "I guess she is a little bitch, now, isn't she?" The laughter was nearly deafening, and it made Finley move a bit further behind the brute.
"I guess you can't expect better from a Gangrel. They all tend to leave their blood behind." He waved it off as if it were nothing to be concerned about, glancing between what he could see of Finley and the angry eyes of Daniel Donal. "At least you two have that in common. I'm sure you'd make pretty little pups, if you could."

Daniel smiled and nodded before swinging a hard left, his dominant hand, straight to the man's face. Then attempted to tackle him and continue to pummel the ass into the ground!

In an easy move, the Prince raised a hand, catching the left fist as if it were nothing. He would move suddenly, too suddenly for the eye to catch, to be behind him, hand still gripped tightly. The motion would throw Finley to the ground, where she would echo a little whimper, and then twist his arm behind his back.
What would really surprise him, is the pain. Fortitude would mean nothing as his skin, muscles, and bones began to stretch, causing deep agony that wouldn't be escapable. So used to being able to handle anything, everything, it promised to be a shock.
"Did I strike a nerve, little puppy?"

Daniel blinked and the Prince was gone. Then rather suddenly, apparently, he was in pain which was an all new experience for him. Gritting his teeth he would stay silent and tried his best to turn his head to look at the man who was causing this pain. Baring his fangs Daniel hissed.

"Oh, I see. You're a kitten then. Well, sheath your claws, little kitten. You're in my house." His words were a cruel whisper across his ear, full of hate. Then, just as suddenly, he would release the Gangrel and reappear in front of him. "You're in a whole new world, boy. You best learn the rules before you try to play this game."
The others within the room hadn't moved much, if at all, but the Toreador harlot chuckled at the situation Daniel had gotten himself into. The Prince had released him, so the danger had passed, for the moment.
"Finley." She remained on the floor but jerked to look up at him, swallowing back her fear. "I'd suggest you take your friend out of here. Teach him the rules of a city before you bother to bring him back."
She didn't respond but scrambled to get her feet under her once more, looking a bit shaken up. As she moved, he turned his attention back to the Gangrel. "When you can beat me in a fight, maybe I'll tell you where she is. Until then... Get out of my sight."

Daniel would be frustrated but he was obviously not strong enough to take this guy on... Yet.
"I'll remember that. And hopefully I won't kill you before I get my answers."
Then he would turn around pick the girl off the ground and start walking out. He was furious and he was sure to make that known by kicking the door to the basement as hard as he could then he would walk out with out doing anything more to the place. If the bodyguard tried to get in his way he would just push past him, daring him to start something. If not he would just walk back to his stall and start cleaning up.

The Prince just smiled at the angry Gangrel, watching him leave as if he had something to prove. If he ever became strong enough to come back and fight him, maybe he would get some answers, but that was something he doubted. Highly. After all, the little vixen that was running from her past definitely did not know how to pick them.
Finley wobbled on her legs for a second before bowing to the Prince, who already had his back to her, and hurrying after the brute. She had no interest in staying in the Elysium any longer than necessary and really didn't have anywhere else to go.
By the time she caught up with him, he had already made it past the irritable security guard and back onto the streets. "Dammit, man, do you have a death wish?" she called after him, finally reaching his side. She reached out to grab his sleeve, glaring as much as she could muster... Which honestly just looked cute. "You almost got us BOTH killed back there!"

Daniel stopped and turned to glare at the girl which was a lot more intimidating than her glare.
"Maybe death would be a better fate than that which we were handed."

She stumbled a few steps forward, nearly running into him, as he stopped suddenly. She hissed in a breath and then raised her gaze to his single eyed glare, her dead heart feeling almost as if it skipped in her chest. She swallowed back her fear, trying hard to listen to his words.
They didn't make any sense. The fate they were handed? Was he talking about their Embrace, their unlife? Was he talking about the vampirism, their eternal nightlife? She blinked slowly, trying to understand what he was saying.
"Are you... Seriously that unhappy? Your Sire... She was your... Wife, right? Didn't you WANT to be Embraced?"
Her brows furrowed in obvious confusion as she tried to understand where he might be coming from. She was Embraced by a stranger, somebody she couldn't even really remember, and then abandoned by him (or her) to start her new life by herself. If it weren't for the Prince that had taken her in, surely she would have been killed for breaching the Masquerade.

Daniel stared at her as she spoke and shook his head with a humorless huff of a chuckle. Then he turned from her and started packing his things.
"Aye lass, she was my wife. But I didn't know about her... Other side, until after I woke up changed. Then I realized a bunch of things all at once, ya know like the fact she only met me at night. But when I changed I woke up to her being gone."
He stopped and pulled his pipe out again and started smoking.
"So to answer yer question. No, it was not my choice, lass."

She stared at him for a moment, wondering how it must have been. To marry someone, to give them your entire life, and then to have that life taken from you... The devastation explained his hatred for her, his need to find her. He had loved her and she had abandoned him...
"I'm so sorry," she said softly, shaking her head. "I... I can't imagine what that must have been like, for you."
There wasn't really much else she could say. She wanted to, to tell him that being a Kindred wasn't so bad, that she had her dreams taken away, too. She wanted to tell him he wasn't alone, but words weren't really her forte.

He would scoff at her words.
"Yeah I don't think there are many that can relate. Especially when you add being undead to the list."
Daniel would work silently for a minute until he was completely packed up. Then he would empty his pipe and put it in his pocket. Then he would reach to his other pocket and pull out a flask and start drinking from it. Then turning to look at the girl he would chuckle and offer her the flask.

"Well, at least now you know that more people can relate to that." Finley said quietly as she stared at the flask in his hand. It would be rude to refuse him, but...
"I don't drink. Sorry..."
She made a face and shook her head, taking a step back, away from the alcohol. She might drink a glass of wine, but no. Nothing stronger.

Daniel shrugged and took another swig before putting the flask away.
"So what brings ya out tonight Lass."
He was genuinely curious.

He seemed so much calmer, now, despite the meeting that... Well, didn't go as planned with the Prince. Maybe he finally realized that he wasn't alone out there in the world. She really couldn't pinpoint what might have made him change like this, but she welcomed it.
At least he didn't seem like he was going to rip her arm off, or something.
"I used to live near here," she explained, smiling as she remembered her family... The people she loved so dearly. "I've been away for a few years, so I thought it would be nice to see how Belfast has changed." She looked at the street around them, at all of the people milling about. It was still the bustling, busy city she remembered, but it somehow felt... Different. Maybe being a vampire had changed her perspective a little.
